As one of Nashville’s hottest rising acts, country-rock duo Lakeview make their highly-anticipated return with the release of “Name In A Song” – available now.

Marking the first taste of new music from the genre-bending brotherhood since the release of their acclaimed debut album last September – a project that not only not only earned the fast-rising newcomers a spot among The Tennessean’s picks for ‘Top Nashville Albums of 2024’ but also led to the duo being named one of Pandora’s ‘2025 Artists to Watch,’ joining the Sirius XM Accelerator program and being dubbed a Sirius XM Highway Find – the unapologetic anthem finds Jesse Denaro and Luke Healy lamenting over a hard-charging curse that inevitably turns love interests into former flames.
“The next era of Lakeview is just getting started,” says Denaro. “It’s storytelling with catchy guitar riffs and an occasional breakdown – unapologetically Lakeview, and we’re stoked to kick it all off with this song.”
“There’s a lot of people who are confused as to what ‘lane’ we’re trying to fit in,” adds Healy. “But the thing is – we aren’t trying to fit in a lane. We’re creating one. There’s not a set of directions on a map for us to follow. We’re just making music for people like us, and we’re having a blast while doing it.”
This new music from Lakeview arrives just in time for fans, as they’ll be hearing it on the road soon. Having recently made history as the first country act to perform at Germany’s Wacken Open Air 2025, the world’s largest heavy metal festival, these “weekend warriors-turned-Music Row favorites” (The Tennessean) are gearing up to remain in the States this fall. In just a few days, Lakeview will embark on their largest headline tour to date. While the ‘Blue Collar Country Tour’ has been going around the world all year long, they kick off the biggest leg on September 4th in Plano, TX before crisscrossing the nation with 25 additional dates through November 1 – including stops in Chicago, Rochester and a special hometown return, dubbed their “Home Town Throwdown,” in Pittsburgh. Tickets are available now HERE.
More music is expected to roll out in the coming months, and fans can keep up with all things Lakeview by visiting lakeviewofficial.com.
