Mehr InformationenAs with the two previous albums in this series, band founder Piet Sielck once again took on the task of producing the album in Hamburg’s Powerhouse Studio. REFORGED – MACHINE WORLD takes fans back in time to 2004 and revives memories of the band’s formative era. For Sielck, it was a particularly emotional process ‘to dive back into the old days, relive the emotions and make the songs fit for the new millennium.’ The reinterpretations of the classics not only offer nostalgic charme, but also set fresh accents that emphasise Iron Savior’s status as an institutional metal power.
The album delivers an impressive mix of rousing speed bangers and epic, profound moments. The title track „Machine World“ and anthems such as „Eye Of The World“ and „Contortions Of Time“ once again demonstrate the versatility and high musical quality for which Iron Savior are known. Sielck is particularly pleased about the new recording of „Eye Of The World“: ‘I was just never happy with this song. Somehow it didn’t really take off. But the new version is an absolute hit and is now even being released as the first single.’
With REFORGED – MACHINE WORLD Iron Savior deliver an absolute must-have for all fans of the band, whether long-time companions or ‘new lovers’. In just under 1.5 hours on two CDs or vinyls, a collection of songs unfolds that both honour the past and promise an exciting future for the band. The reimagined classics are a brilliant tribute to the band’s roots, while also daring to step into a new decade of metal. The bottom line: if you love Iron Savior, you can’t go past this album.
