The four-piece Finnish modern rock outlet Block of Flats has released a new single ’I Stand Below It All’, cowritten with and produced by no other than Blind Channel’s Alex & Niko, to celebrate the first leg of the European tour with The Rasmus and The Funeral Portrait. The tour has been a great success – sold-out shows topped with an excited reception from the audience:

Mehr Informationen”The first leg of the tour is wrapped up, and the vibe is sky-high! The lineup is incredibly strong, and it’s an honor to be part of these nights. We’ve already played ’I Stand Below It All’ at the shows, and the response has been amazing. The song is a modern metal track produced and co-written with Alex Mattsson and Niko Wilhelm (Blind Channel). ’I Stand Below It All’ a confession of the mistakes you’ve made—taking responsibility and learning to live with them. The wolves are already at the door, and now it’s time to open it.”
The band is stoked to continue the tour and hit the stage next in Holland, Belgium, France and the UK. You can find all dates here.

About Block of Flats:
Block of Flats combines metal riffs, the catchiest hooks of pop, imaginative arrangements, and an electronic sound in their music. This modern metal band is especially known for their energetic live performances, which have been seen at Finland’s biggest rock festivals and clubs all around Europe.
Their debut album, No Hope For The Hopeless, was released at the end of 2023, and from the very first singles, the songs from the album have been played on the radio and international playlists, gathering listeners across Europe and the United States. The band is part of Ranka Kustannus and Backbone Management’s roster, which has raised them among the top Finnish rock and metal acts (including Blind Channel, The Rasmus, VV). In the fall of 2025, the band will head on a month-long European tour together with The Rasmus, ready to claim their place in the international music scene.
The recordings of Block of Flats’ second studio album are underway, and some of the biggest names in the Finnish metal scene (Alex Mattsson, Niko Moilanen) have joined the production side. The band’s goal is clear: to rise as one of Finland’s most interesting rock/metal bands.
