New Album “President Of My Own Fanclub” About To Follow On October 16
Swedish-Finnish artist FELIN returns with “Running Red Lights”, the latest single from her upcoming album “President of My Own Fanclub”. Fierce, urgent and unapologetically alive, the track is a powerful statement about taking risks, refusing to give up and continuing to chase the dream – no matter how many times the world tells you no.
Blending alternative rock, pop-punk and dark pop, FELIN creates music that is emotional, energetic and empowering. Her sound combines rock-driven intensity with melodic pop elements, resulting in songs that speak to anyone who has ever felt like they didn’t quite fit the mould.
For FELIN, “Running Red Lights” is deeply personal – a song shaped by the journey she has taken to get here. Born and raised in Terjärv, Finland, Elin Blom Etoall formed her first band at just 11 years old. Soon after, her musical journey took her from Finland to Los Angeles, before eventually settling in Stockholm, Sweden. Moving between countries, music scenes and cultures has shaped both her sound and artistic identity, while her Finnish roots remain a defining part of who she is as an artist.
FELIN comments:
“‘Running Red Lights” is almost a manifesto for how I want to live my life. I’ve always felt that time is running out, so I want to dream big, take risks and rather fail than regret never trying. The more something scares me, the more likely I am to throw myself into it headfirst.“
She continues:
“The song also reflects all these years in the music industry – the rejection, the closed doors and all the times I’ve had to get back up and keep going. I’ve built this from the ground up, DIY from day one, and in many ways, we’re still doing the same thing today. We work our asses off for those few minutes on stage when everything else disappears. That’s when I feel most alive. I sing ‘I do what I want!’ almost defiantly, but to me it means something deeper: I’m still doing what I love, still keeping the dream alive, and I’m still running towards it – despite everything.”
That DIY spirit has been at the heart of FELIN’s career from the very beginning. Alongside her own artist project, she has established herself as both a songwriter and a formidable live performer, writing for international artists including Adam Lambert and performing as a touring musician for artists such as Icona Pop and Agnes.
On stage, FELIN is known for her uncompromising energy and electrifying presence. Her high-energy, no-filter performances put connection with the audience first, loud, physical and unapologetically emotional. She has toured across the Nordics and Baltics, appeared at major showcase festivals and on the German TV show Rockpalast, and shared stages with artists including Normandie, Smash Into Pieces, Royal Republic and Thundermother. She has also opened arena shows for The Chainsmokers in Berlin.
“Running Red Lights” follows the singles “Hit Like A Girl” and “Ricochet”, both released earlier this year. Together, the tracks offer a glimpse into the second half of “President Of My Own Fanclub”, with the full album set for release on October 16, 2026.
The album release will be followed by FELIN’s most extensive European tour to date. Starting October 31 at A2 in Wroclaw, Poland, she will join Ukrainian rock sensation The Hardkiss for 24 shows across Europe, including seven dates in Germany, before concluding the tour at Tavastia in Helsinki, Finland, on December 1.
