Mehr InformationenPaying homage to the original soundtrack, the anniversary release sees the dynamic track list recreated from the ground up by KNIGHTS OF UNICRON, comprised of Matt Harvey, Gus Rios and Ross Sewage, to deliver a powerful, heavier and sharper sonic impact.
„The Touch“ opens the album with an uplifting anthemic rock offering featuring a compelling vocal performance from Stan Bush. Warm toned 80s synths immediately transport audiences back to the original Transformers era, while vibrant rhythms bring movement beneath soaring vocals and melodic guitar lines.
Joined by Francesco Cavalieri, „Instruments of Destruction“ introduces a grittier, darker distorted sound. Driven by steadfast percussion, biting heavy rhythms and Cavalieri’s impactful vocals, the track brings energy and intensity with melodic riffs.
Composer Vince DiCola delivers a haunting offering in „Death of Optimus Prime“. Delicate piano notes float alongside an ethereal arpeggiated synth. Orchestral strings rise and fall beneath the mournful wind section. Dramatic organ injects a theatricality into the dynamic soundscape, while electronics reveal elements of light and shade.
Shifting stylistic gears, „Dare“ sees Stan Bush and Vince DiCola contribute to this song’s high octane sound. Upbeat and energized, „Dare“ brings rhythmic momentum and catchy chorus hooks. It’s an electrifying rock ’n‘ roll addition to the track list.
Sebastian Bach fires up „Nothin’s Gonna Stand in Our Way“ with a fierce vocal performance. This classic metal track exudes a contagious energy and contains an unforgettable chorus. Loaded with riffs the guitar-led „Nothin’s Gonna Stand in Our Way“ never lets up.
„The Transformers (Theme)“ packs a powerful punch with Brittney Slayes leading on vocals. As the heaviness is ramped up in this interpretation of the iconic theme song, Slayes‘ charismatic melodic belts delivers an impressive, fiery effect.
„Escape“ returns to orchestral realms emerging with an emotive opening. As heavy instruments and orchestration collide, progressive touches and jazz influences combine into a thrilling sonic world building.
Diving back into classic territory, „Hunger“ featuring Mark Osegueda unleashes a raging heavy attack. Osegueda’s uncompromised range and sustain is unyielding alongside the grounded thunderous percussion and catchy riffs.
Mechanical rhythms and a cyber twist await in the dynamic and textural „Autobot/ Decepticon Battle“. Incorporating an array of heavy styles alongside cinematic orchestral arrangements, the track unveils intensity, theatrics and emotion across this thrilling offering.
The album draws to a close with the fast-paced „Dare To Be Stupid“ featuring Torch on vocal duties. Despite having reached the end of the track list, there is no sign of slowing down. Pounding percussion, racing arpeggiated patterns and rapid vocal lines fuse into an explosive finale.
