The rockers slow things down and show off a more musically contemplative and downright pretty side of their skills with this cover. It’s a soft and sweet version of the pop song that builds to an epic crescendo. It’s unexpected — and that’s what make it such a rewarding listen.
„While Capstan is a band whose members regularly enjoy good pop music, there had never been a song that resonated with us as if it could be one of our own, until ‚Glimpse of Us‘ by Joji,“ the group states. „From the lyrical subject matter to the use of some uncommon chords for its genre, ‚Glimpse of Us‘ felt like too perfect a fit to ignore.
