German DJ, label owner, and artist manager Oliver Schories unveiled his remix of FENRA’s ‘CHICAGO’,on February 20th, 2026 via 6x Records. The sublime rework of the standout cut from the Portland-based producer’s debut EP Delusional, premiered on renowned publication When We Dip and received support from YourEDM, as well as major YouTube channel Suicide Sheep.
With acclaimed albums such as Exit and Blitzbahn released on renowned labels including Stil vor Talentand Get Physical, Schories boasts over 140 million streams on Spotify alone. His releases, Paradigmand Paradigm Remixes, alongside collaborations with artists such as Packard with Jan Blomqvist, have seen widespread success across platforms. Beyond his own productions, he has championed emerging and established talent through his labels SOSO and Pracht, hosting artists such as Deetron and Rodriguez Jr. Additionally, his music has earned praise from leading publications including Mixmag, Magnetic Magazine, YourEDM, DHA, Progressive Astronaut, and When We Dip, cementing his place among Germany’s top DJs and live acts while highlighting his influence on the global electronic music landscape.

Fresh off the release of his debut EP, Delusional, FENRA is the electronic moniker of producer B Laws, who grew up surrounded by art and first fell in love with harmony while listening to hymns in church with his grandmother. After teaching himself guitar at the age of 14 and later experimenting with synths, vocals, and drums in bands that toured across the US, Europe, and Asia, he is now channeling his experience into a new artistic chapter. Drawing inspiration from pioneers like Caribou, Four Tet, Floating Points, Bonobo, and DJ Koze, FENRA crafts music that bridges the cinematic with the deeply personal.
The original ‘CHICAGO’ is a footwork-inspired, atmospheric breakbeat track anchored by a shuffling rhythm and a minimal, hopeful synth line, layered with organic textures and heavenly choral vocals that lift the track into the stratosphere. Oliver Schories injects a thrumming house pulse into the track, subtly transforming FENRA’s twinkling textures into an evolving, hypnotic soundscape that will entice fans of Adriatique, Yottoand ARTBAT.
Oliver told us: “For this remix, I wanted to strip the track back and focus on atmosphere and emotion. The original had a strong energy, so I reinterpreted it as a more restrained, deep house journey that leaves space to breathe and slowly unfold. It’s meant to feel warm, introspective, and timeless.”
