After endless songwriting, nerdy work on details under the rigid supervision of our producer Christoph von Freydorf, a pandemic, a couple of lineup changes and countless other obstacles in the way BALE are floored being able to finally present you ten new songs.
“We´re totally happy with the result. From our point of view, it´s a fitting symbiosis of hard old school music and appealing sound” states the band. Responsible is not only Lolly Springer (helping the band out with advice beforehand and also looked after them in his studio) but also Magnus Lindberg, who put the finishing touches on the ten tracks in his renowned „Redmount Studios“ in Sweden.
Textual/content-wise BALE tackles a couple of subjects: racism or music & band for example. “In our advanced ages existence and especially time are constantly becoming bigger factors. PMA (positive mental attitude) is important to us also and this reflects in the lyrics” BALE determines.
The perfect artwork of Tom Ardelt follows the contents of the title track: primal fears & nightmares.
“Despite the many pros that stood by our side continuously, this whole thing was a grueling process for the band – and for a long time it was unsure whether we would come out of it unscathed. So that we were able to leave all this behind as a fully functioning band is even more an additional reason to celebrate the result!”.
